Faculty-Led Education Abroad Program

Faculty-led education abroad programs provide faculty with the opportunity to connect course content through experiential learning objectives. These programs contribute to UT’s internationalization of the curriculum and Texas Global’s goal of providing affordable international experiences to our students. Students earn credit towards their degree program and have the opportunity to build strong connections with UT faculty. Programs focused on entrepreneurship and innovation are invited to apply.

Innovative Teaching Opportunities with Human Dimensions of Organizations

The master of arts degree in Human Dimensions of Organizations is for mid-career professionals who are interested in learning about the application of the humanities and social/behavioral sciences to their work lives. We work with full and associate faculty to teach a variety of courses. Faculty are paid an overload for teaching in this program. UT staff are welcome additions to our cohort.

Moffett Family Summer Entrepreneurship Academy

Provided by McCombs School of Business; Entrepreneurship Minor

The Moffett Family Summer Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA) is an in-person, 8-week summer program for UT Austin undergraduates. SEA participants will complete 4 of 5 required courses for the Entrepreneurship Minor. Students will develop a foundational understanding of entrepreneurship, through terminology, case-based learning, key theories, and empirical-based practices, while working with local startups, corporate sponsors, McCombs alumni, and entrepreneurial mentors.

NSF Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Program

Provided by Austin Technology Incubator

The Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) program offers $50,000 grants for Faculty and Grad Student/Postdoc researchers to reduce the time and risk associated with translating technologies from lab to market, quickly assessing the market potential of inventions developed from fundamental discoveries in science and engineering. Teams work directly with leadership from the Southwest I-Corps Node (SWICORPS) at UT Austin to gain eligibility and prepare for the NSF grant program through regional activities.
