Applied Research Laboratories is a University Affiliated Research Center operating under a Department of Defense management plan with oversight by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Drug development services including preclinical evaluation (animal and analytical), development, and translation of drug products and technologies that improve healthcare outcomes. Access to equipment and services, such as small animal studies (mice, rats, hamsters), cell culture, material characterization (NGI, Spraytec, Zetasizer), formulation development, dissolution and stability studies, as well as quantitative small molecule HPLC and mass spec analyses.
