Applied Research Laboratories is a University Affiliated Research Center operating under a Department of Defense management plan with oversight by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Applied Research Laboratories makes significant contributions in support of national security through fundamental research, innovative science, and applied engineering.

The Austin Technology Incubator (ATI) is the deep technology incubator of UT Austin. We nurture startups founded around scientific and engineering breakthroughs, particularly in healthcare and sustainability. For over 30 years ATI has served UT faculty, researchers, and students at many stages in their entrepreneurship journey with programs including ATI membership, NSF I-Corps, Texas Global Health Security Innovation Consortium, TEX Venture Mentoring Service, and Student Associate experiences.

The Center for Health Communication is a joint academic center bringing together researchers and experts across broad areas of health communication so they can collaborate, share ideas and innovations, and advance their scholarship and its impact to the highest possible level. The Center can be a resource for teams pursuing SBIR & STTR grants and other external funding opportunities, especially in regards to health interventions such as mobile apps, e-health applications, etc.

Eureka is a searchable database supporting undergraduate participation in research and creative activity across The University of Texas at Austin. Students can find faculty members who regularly work on a given topic using the "Faculty" search, or browse a listing of posted research assistantships with the "Projects" search. All faculty members are encouraged to update their profiles regularly and post projects to better connect with students.

The Find Funding page on the Office of the Vice President for Research, Scholarship and Creative Endeavors is a clearinghouse of internal and external research funding opportunities available to UT Austin researchers. The Find Funding page includes links to searchable databases containing funding opportunities in the Innovation and Economic Impact space applicable for innovators.

At the Herb Kelleher Entrepreneurship Center, our dedicated focus is on fostering the growth of entrepreneurial skills and empowering Longhorns to embrace this mindset in their careers, whether through starting their own businesses or driving innovation within established industries. As a complement to The Navigator, the Innovation Concierge serves as a nexus for all innovation activity for faculty across the UT campus. The Innovation Concierge is well informed on innovation resources both within the institution, as well as the broader Austin and Texas ecosystems. Faculty are encouraged to connect as needed and the Innovation Concierge will provide a warm handoff to the correct point of contact.

The Office of Undergraduate Research supports student engagement in the research and creative activity of the university. The Office of Undergraduate Research acts as a hub for resources and activities that help undergraduates 1) connect with faculty mentors to become involved in research, 2) obtain funding to carry out their projects, and 3) share their results with internal and external audiences.

Pivot allows researchers in all disciplines to quickly discover funding opportunities that match their interests and expertise. Pivot is available to all UT faculty, staff researchers, research administrators and students.
